MMCA managing member, Mandla possess wide managerial experience in number of areas, especially in business management, auditing, taxation, banking and financial management.
Former Group Accountant for Teba Bank Group and Financial Accountant for Absa Bank Group, Mandla acquired experience in accounting, auditing, and risk management and taxation services.
He worked for the South African Reserve Bank as Senior Analyst in the Analysis Division of the Bank Supervision Department, where he conducted both financial and economic analysis for the banks locally and internationally and later moved to the Onsite Review as an Examiner of banks.
He was recently involved with the World Bank/ International Finance Corporation (IFC) (IFC is a private sector arm of the World Bank Group) as Operation Officer focusing on SMEs development program for Lonmin Platinum Mine (Lonmin Plc is the third world largest platinum producer). He designed framework for reporting, such as financial system setup, dashboard, monitoring and evaluation reporting framework on economic and financial indicators etc.
He is qualified as Professional Accountant (SA) with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA). He completed his Chartered Accountants (CA) articles with Absa Bank Ltd Training Outside Public Practice Programme (TOPP).
He is an accredited Independent Reviewer (SA) SAIBA and also an accredited Approved Training Centre (ATC)
Mandla is also a mentor for SMMEs under SAB Thoalana for Fetola and the South African Police Service’s Hawks for forensic accounting. He was served in the Panel of NEF Financial Mentors
